It has been reported that there has been a change in requirements for customs declarations in Senegal. Vessels arriving are now required to declare the CO2 quantity on the vessel as well as any foam and fire extinguishers.
There are reports of heavy fines being issued by customs in Dakar due to incorrect or inaccurate information being declared by vessels.
