Senior Loss Prevention Executive

In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for using your marine technical knowledge to support our members and clients and colleagues.
What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the claims and Underwriting functions in an internal consultancy capacity
- Engaging regularly with members and clients to promote positive changes to their organisation that will assist them with reducing the number of incidents that may give rise to claims.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of products, services and knowledge that support positive changes to members and client’s organisations.
- Contributing to, edit or author articles, briefings, guides, news, and output on NorthStandard social media channels.
Ad Hoc Duties
Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks are as allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.
About you
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- A Marine Engineer with experience in a senior role on vessels and in a shore based marine technical management role.
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with individual members.
- Flexible with availability to be able to service the needs of members, clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel.
- Comfortable speaking in public.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Experience
- A degree in a maritime or engineering related subject.
- Experience of decarbonisation projects.
