北英保赔协会新开发上线的互联网应用可以帮助船东和经营人跟踪新冠状病毒扩散的最新信息。
北英保赔协会开发了名为MyGlobeView的平台 – 这是一个带有互动功能的地图，可以帮助会员了解全球各港口国家可能会对航运有影响的商业风险和其他威胁 – 现在，该平台可以即时提供各国家和地区的确诊病例以及需要注意的事项。
该软件提供的数据来自世界卫生组织（WTO）和其它权威机构，可以协助船舶的经营和调度，并在挂靠特定港口前提前做好相应准备。

新冠状病毒自2019年底从中国武汉被发现，到目前为止包括中国，欧洲，北美以及英国在内，确诊病例超过2万个，其中在英国东北部也有两例。死亡病例超过400人， 全部在中国。
世界卫生组织已经宣布此次危机为全球紧急健康事件。
