In September 2023, the Group welcomed the Electronic Trade Documents Act (“Act”), giving legal recognition in English law to electronic trade documents, including electronic bills of lading. Policy Year 2024/25 - Changes to the Rules of the P&I, FD&D, War Risks and Coastal & Inland Classes
As advised in our circular of 7 November 2023 - Introducing NorthStandard’s New Combined Rules, the new combined NorthStandard rules for the P&I, FD&D, War Risks and Coastal & Inland classes will be introduced for the 2024 policy year (and onwards). The combined rules involve changes to the rules previously used by both sides of the combined business. They will be effective from noon GMT on 20 February 2024.
