USA: USCG issues a Marine Safety Bulletin on the precautions for possible contamination after calling at Tianjin
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has issued a Marine Safety Bulletin on steps to be taken as a result of possible contamination of vessels that have called at Tianjin in the aftermath of the explosions there.
The purpose of the bulletin is to provide notice to assist in assessing the potential contamination risks from the Tianjin explosions on August 12th and 15th, and to highlight ship owners’ obligations to report any such hazardous conditions to the USCG
