UAE: Change to Immigration Restrictions for Crew Changes *Update*

North has received an update regarding crew changes in Fujairah as follows:

It has been reported that vessels arriving from, or departing to, ports in the following countries are not permitted to conduct crew changes through Port of Fujairah (POF) Immigration:
• Iraq
• Libya
• Syria
• Nigeria
• Qatar
In addition, when conducting a crew change it is a requirement for the POF harbour master to endorse the immigration declaration. The immigration declaration must also show last and next ports.

It has been reported that vessels arriving from, or departing to, ports in the following countries are now permitted to conduct crew changes through Port of Fujairah Immigration:
- Iran
- Iraq
- Syria
- Libya
- Yemen
- Djibouti
- Algeria
- Lebanon
The change in immigration regulations represents a lifting of the previous ban on crew changes. However, crew members who are nationals of the above countries are not permitted to join or disembark through the port of Fujairah.
