The long-awaited document ISO/PAS 23263:2019 Petroleum products – Fuels (class F) is now published and available for purchase from the ISO website on the following link: https://www.iso.org/standard/75113.html
The document guides fuel suppliers and users on the application of the 0.50% sulphur content reduction which is fast approaching in 2020 and the impact this may have on fuel quality.
The PAS confirms that ISO 8217 specifications will still apply to fuels meeting the 0.50% sulphur limit and provides useful technical advice on fuel characteristics.
