Sanctions: Russian Federation Imposes Sanctions Against Turkey
Members should be aware that the Russian Federation authorities have declared an intention to ban the importation of some Turkish foodstuffs.
The ban is due to come into force on 1 January 2015 but a full list of the foodstuffs has yet to be published.
In the meantime, we have been advised that authorities in some Russian ports, in particular Novorossiysk, have begun taking their own unofficial action against the importation of Turkish cargoes.
