The situation in Turkey appears to be calming following an attempted coup overnight on 15/16 July 2016. The security environment, however, remains volatile.

Masters and operators of vessels calling or intending to call at Turkish ports should contact their local agents and P&I correspondents for the latest information and follow the advice of the authorities.
