North has received reports from local P&I correspondents that:

Paramilitary gendarmes (security forces) sealed off all access and closed the port of Abidjan on Wednesday 18 January 2017.
All port operations were resumed by late evening on 18 January 2017.

As the situation extremely volatile, Members are advised to obtain the most up to date information available from local sources.
