Brazilian Authorities Investigating Beach Pollution
Brazilian authorities are trying to identify the source of oil pollution that has affected hundreds of beaches in the northeast coast of the country.
Local correspondents Brazil P&I have advised that the Brazilian Navy have identified approximately 140 vessels that sailed within the affected area in the past two months. Despite speculation that the oil originated from Venezuela, all identified vessels are being notified accordingly and may be required to provide evidence of no involvement.
