Audits and Social Distancing
The COVID-19 pandemic is showing us more than ever the value of remote services. When physical attendance to carry out a survey or audit is made virtually impossible, it shouldn’t mean that we can’t continue taking a progressive approach to safety.
Earlier this year, we partnered with Surenav to offer North Members a discount of more than 45% on a pack of five remote navigation audits.
Navigation audits are traditionally performed with an assessor on board the vessel. However, using a vessel’s VDR data, Surenav can audit your bridge team performance from ashore. This means there is no need to fly out and accommodate any additional personnel to perform this task.
