Following on from our Circular, Member Benefit – Cyber Security Evaluation, dated 7 September 2017, we would like to take this opportunity to remind Members that we are hosting a webinar on Thursday 14 September 2017 at 14.00 “Cyber Risks – Making A Start” to talk through the benefitsof using the HA CyberLogix evaluation platform which is available to North’s Members for a discounted rate.

HACyberLogix is a secure, cloud-based program that is designed to provide maritime companies with the ability to assess their organisation’s cyber security capabilities, identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities across the organisation, and provide specific guidance for supporting the implementation, continuous improvement, and long-term sustainability of a cybersecurity program supporting all shore-based and shipboard operating environments.

North is encouraging Members to consider using Hudson Analytix’s HACyberLogix Platform to develop an understanding and measurement of their policies, processes, procedures, and technologies that contribute to their cyber security:

• The platform will enable Members to evaluate themselves across 12 key areas related to cyber risks.  These 12 areas encompass all functional areas of a shipping company. 

• The platform’s evaluation outputs support the creation of automatically generated, prioritised recommendations to Members on action areas. 

• The system allows audit and tracking of cyber performance over time.
