Senior Digital Executive (Fixed Term) Newcastle

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Digital Executive / Senior Digital Executive (position subject to individual experience) to join our dynamic and fast-paced Marketing & Communications team (Fixed Term – 12 months).
This in-house position offers you the opportunity to work with a fully integrated Marketing & Communications team delivering industry leading campaigns and content across all major internal and external digital channels.
Working closely with our digital team, you will be responsible for coordinating the digital planning and activities across our internal and external digital platforms.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Leading the delivery of our planned digital developments for 2022 and 2023.
- Managing daily content updates across all external websites, including but not limited to new pages, news articles and publication updates.
- Performing regular content and SEO audits to ensure content remains fresh, relevant and in line with best practice.
- Producing monthly and annual website, SEO, email, and social analytics reports for several key stakeholders across our internal and external sites, making recommendations for improvements aligned with our KPI targets.
- Producing engaging social media content to promote new or existing campaigns and initiatives, whilst proactively looking for opportunities to grow our platforms.
- Supporting the maintenance of our SharePoint intranet platform, which acts as a key internal communications tool for the business.
- Providing training, and supporting materials, to users of all different levels.
- Evaluating North’s digital communications to include a review of new and emerging trends in digital marketing, design, social media, and email marketing to ensure North Group is at the forefront of industry developments.
We’re looking for a marketing professional with 5 years’ minimum experience, educated to degree level or equivalent, with a keen and sustained interest in all aspects of digital marketing. You’ll have a proven track record of managing B2B digital marketing campaigns, including social media planning, website development, content marketing, email marketing and updating / managing in-house intranet systems.
You’ll be comfortable in working on a range of digital platforms including website content management systems (preferably WordPress), intranet systems (preferably SharePoint) email marketing platforms and social media planners.
You’ll also have excellent project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to cope with demanding workloads and perform under pressure.
